Get ready for a day of Irish pride, Regimental tradition and camaraderie as we mark St Patrick’s Day 2026 with members, families and friends of the Irish Guards Association, North of England Branch.

This annual gathering celebrates the history and service of the Regiment while bringing the Irish Guards community together in Liverpool.

Form Up and Shamrock Pin Badges Distribution

Irish Guards Memorial, St George’s Hall Garden, Liverpool

• 11:45 – Form up at the Irish Guards Memorial
• 12:00 – Parade and distribution of new shamrock pin badges

This is a form up on parade rather than a march. Dress is suit, Regimental tie and large medals.

Main Celebration – O’Brien’s

O’Brien’s Irish Bar, 20 Mathew Street, Liverpool

From 12:30

Following the parade, join us at O’Brien’s for the main St Patrick’s Day celebration. Enjoy an afternoon of music, conversation and good company in the heart of the city.

• Entertainment – Live entertainment throughout the afternoon
• Buffet – Buffet provided
• Raffle – Tickets available on the day with a range of prizes

This event is open to all members, family and friends and is a great opportunity to come together and celebrate St Patrick’s Day in true Irish Guards style.
