The Irish Guards are holding their Annual Dinner this year at the Shankly Hotel on the evening of the 19th September 2026. It is always a large and colourful event but this year we have been extremely fortunate to welcome as our keynote speaker, Hilary Meredith-Beckham who is the UK’s leading lawyer in prosecuting highly successful cases on behalf of veterans against the MOD. She has also experienced considerable success in the USA.
Hilary will be accompanied by her husband Ted Beckham who is the Father of Sir David Beckham.
This will be a very rare opportunity for all Regimental Associations to send representatives to the Dinner to understand the work undertaken by Hilary on behalf of veterans across the UK and to further understand the true entitlements veterans are entitled to receive especially following death or serious injury attributed to accidents/exercises/combat whilst serving.
So often veterans only receive a fraction of what they are truly entitled to and therefore its incumbent on all veteran organisations to be better informed.
